12/21/12: Lou Sylvre on the Stuff Your Stocking Blogfest

Long and Short Reviews blogfest 2012 graphic Tomorrow, 12/21, at 2:00PM Eastern, my guest blog goes live at Long and Short Reviews, part of the Stuff Your Stocking blogfest. Instead of an interview or whatnot, this time I’ve indulged in a little holiday philosophizing. I’d of course love to know what you think about it. There’s also an Christmas scene excerpt, and an ebook to be won. I hope you’ll stop by. The following link isn’t good until tomorrow at 2 PM EST, but I’ll post it now because I’ll be slaving at the day job at that time. Here it is:

Vasquez and James need your advice

Follow this link to a blog post about Luki and Sonny—as you’ve never seen them before. The guys need your advice! Doesn’t have to be much; can be practical or whimsical or deep. The winning words get you a copy of Yes: A Vasquez and James Novella when it’s released this summer, and your name and advice inside the book.

Unlike Loving Luki Vasquez and Delsyn’s Blues this novella is not mystery, the battle isn’t won with guns. But I’m still in the business of writing romance, and I love these characters. Here’s the last lines:

“Hands held tight together, they pushed through the doors, two tall, strong men—still standing—and walked into a pink rain of wind-blown cherry blossoms.

‘Spring!’ Sonny said, clearly surprised.”

I hope you’ll stop by and share your advice—or even just your thoughts—and keep the book in mind for it’s summer 2012 release date, and join these two loving men as they fight through the toughest struggle of their lives.

Lou Sylvre’s New Release: Delsyn’s Blues from Dreamspinner Press

The day has arrived and Delsyn’s Blues is available now from Dreamspinner Press. You can get it there (click the cover image for a direct link), or if you have an account at All Romance Ebooks, it’s “live” there as well. Other venues will be Amazon, B&N, Rainbow Ebooks, and tons more.

You might be able to tell, I’m excited about this. This book is the 2nd in the Vasquez & James series, sequel to Loving Luki Vasquez. The guys run into a lot of trouble, and to get out of it they’d better really, really love each other. Scroll down for the blurbs and links (cover images) for both books.

Reclusive weaver Sonny Bly James controls every color and shape in his tapestries, but he can’t control the pattern of his life—a random encounter with Luki Vasquez, ex-ATF agent and all-around badass, makes that perfectly clear. The mutual attraction is immediate, but love-shy Sonny has retreated from life, and Luki wears his visible and not-so-visible scars like armor. Neither can bare his soul with ease. While they run from desire, they can’t hide from the evil that hunts them. After it becomes clear that a violent stalker has targeted Sonny, Luki’s protective instincts won’t let him run far, especially when Sonny’s family is targeted as well. Whether they can forgive or forget, Sonny and Luki will have to call a truce and work together to save Sonny’s nephew and fight an enemy intent on making sure loving Luki Vasquez is the last mistake Sonny will ever make.

Sonny James and Luki Vasquez are living proof that the course of love never runs smoothly. Ambushed by grief, Sonny listens to a voice singing the blues from beyond the grave. While revisiting the sorrows and failings of his past, in the here and now he puts up a wall against love. Just when Luki chips through that barricade, the couple becomes the target of a new threat from outside: an escalating and unexplainable rash of break-ins and assaults. Thoughts of infidelity rise between them, a threat that may strain their newly mended love past its limits. To come through the trials alive and together, Luki and Sonny will have to unite against enemies who were once friends and overcome crippling hatred and overwhelming fear. If they succeed, maybe then they can rekindle the twin flames of passion and love.
